US Election Watch 08

The US Studies Centre (USSC) invites you to experience the race to the White House with US Election Watch 08. The program features a series of events in October and November, a dedicated website, and even competitions with trips to the Inauguration and $1000 as grand prizes.

Election Watch events include screenings of the election debates, an Election Day Spectacular and public forums. Distinguished guests include Kim Beazley and journalists from CNN, the Los Angeles Times, the ABC and The Australian.

The Election Watch website offers a variety of informative and interactive ways to learn about the 2008 election. Pick the next US president and you and your guest could find yourselves in Washington DC next January for a once-in-a-lifetime insider’s experience.
